‘The Path of Aphrodite’ spectacular inaugural performance

Theatrum Vitae (Theatre of Life), an innovative international cultural platform headquartered in Cyprus, dedicated to humanitarian values and multi-faceted creative educational projects, recently staged the launch of its first inspiring show for distinguished Cypriot and international guests at the magical Palaepafos Museum in the historic village of Kouklia.

‘The Path of Aphrodite’ launch gave guests a taste of what’s to come this summer, as Theatrum Vitae prepares to attract international culture-loving audiences to the legendary birthplace of the Goddess of Love and Beauty, Petra Tou Romiou (Aphrodite’s Rock), for repeat performances in July 2019.

In his welcoming speech, read by the Minister of Education and Culture, President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, said : “I wish at the outset to express my appreciation and sincere thanks to Theatrum Vitae, the organisers of this spectacular show, for providing us with the opportunity to witness the story of rich cultural heritage, history and traditions; a tale dedicated to Greek mythology, exploring the path that shaped our future. At the same time, we have the opportunity to experience a unique event which contributes to the reinforcement and promotion of Cyprus as an international centre of high-level cultural events.” The President proceeded to express his clear support for such ambitious projects and initiatives.

Theatrum Vitae was founded by Cyprus-based international architect, Rafael Porzycki, and international musician and producer, Olga Balakleets, and is designed to transcend boarders and unite people around the world.
